01/09/2024 DENDERMONDE – Belgian IT companies Projinit and TalenCia have announced their merger, now operating under the name BMC Tech Tribe. This strategic move aims to strengthen both companies' positions in an increasingly competitive market. By combining their expertise and experience, they position themselves as a leading player in the sector. Both companies will continue to operate under their respective names.

Consolidation in the Sector

"The IT sector has been experiencing a wave of consolidation for some time, with companies growing larger to remain competitive. We decided not to stay behind. Having previously collaborated successfully with TalenCia, this merger was a logical next step," explains Samuel Caulier, Director & CEO of Projinit. The merger is the result of a long and careful process in which both parties took the time to lay a solid foundation. "By combining our expertise, resources, and networks, we can grow and face future challenges. With this merger, we not only secure our market share but also aim to expand it in an increasingly competitive IT sector," adds Projinit COO, Youssef Ben Seddik.

Continuity and Trust

"This step marks not only the beginning of a strong partnership but also a future in which our unique cultures and values are preserved," continues Ilyesse Maouan, Managing Director at TalenCia. "We will continue to operate from our familiar locations, safeguard our DNA, and change nothing in our existing working methods." So, what does change? "In this new collaboration, each party benefits from scaling up without losing the flexibility and speed that have characterized us so far. In our sector, where changes can happen rapidly, agility is essential."

Expanded Services

For clients and partners of both companies, everything remains virtually the same. "They can still count on the service they are accustomed to; existing contacts remain unchanged. Moreover, through this collaboration, we can expand our services. We are considering the possibility of permanent hires alongside Projinit's existing project-based approach. This means they can rely not only on flexible project solutions but also on long-term support with permanent staff," says Samuel Caulier.

New Growth Opportunities

The merger also creates new opportunities and career paths for employees. "The merger results in a larger organization where they can further develop their careers, with access to new roles and responsibilities that were perhaps previously out of reach. Additionally, a broader range of projects allows them to choose work that best aligns with their ambitions and expertise," assures Ilyesse Maouan.

Future Vision: Focus on Organic Growth

In the coming years, Projinit and TalenCia will focus on organic growth, with a strong emphasis on employer branding and attracting and training IT talent. Both companies remain agile enough to consider new acquisitions when the time is right but will maintain their growth at a comfortable and achievable pace.

Together, the companies employ approximately 300 IT experts daily.
